A Corazón Puro affiliates' purpose is to adopt the Corazón Puro model of Catholic leadership training to build a culture of life in our community.
An affiliate is an extension of Corazón Puro’s core vision to reach out to the community and inform and transform the culture. Corazón Puro works to educate the Latino youth and young adults about the intrinsic value of chastity and human dignity. The affiliate takes the responsibility of working with many pro-life and pro-family organizations, groups and individuals in the United States and beyond our borders to create a change in the society. The affiliate is the natural progression of the efforts of Corazón Puro, procuring a better today and tomorrow for the Latino community. It also works closely with their families and communities, with the Church and every person of good will.
What we do
Pure Heart Philippines is a community of Catholic missionaries striving to live and share the beauty of pure love with the youth by fostering a personal encounter with Jesus. We share the beauty of pure love by helping the youth discover their dignity and God's gift of sexuality.
In 2014, Pure Heart Philippines was established in Cebu and has so far reached more than 19,000 Filipino youth and young adults.

PROJECT LOVE is our monthly event where we seek to answer your deepest questions on love, sexuality, relationships, and following God. It is open to all youth ages 15-35.
Come join us every 1st Saturday of the month!
Pure Heart Philippines Headquarters; 2pm to 5pm
PURE LOVE is our weekly event where we go deeper into the teachings of the Catholic Church on the meaning of our lives, our bodies, our sexuality, relationship, vocation, and being disciples of Jesus. We study St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body, using videos, documentaries, talks, reflections, and personal sharing. It is open to all youth ages 15-35.

Pure Heart Philippines headquarters; 7pm to 8:30pm
We have a team of missionaries who go to schools, universities, youth groups, and other organizations to give talks and recollections about God's love and our sexuality to young people in Cebu, the Visayas, and all over the Philippines.

how we started
Corazón Puro RGV (South Texas) began with our invitation from the McAllen Deanery to host a Corazón Puro First Stage Retreat for the youth leaders in McAllen parishes. After months of preparation, we hosted the first stage retreat on Thanksgiving weekend. Over 40 youth attended and we were blessed with the opportunity to continue the ongoing formation through the Office of Vocations under the direction of Fr. Juan Manuel Salazar. We hosted our first live stream in January and have continued ever since
We hope to continue with Corazón Puro study groups in the near future and are beginning our Project Outskirt outreach to the homeless. We gather for prayer, a talk on poverty and or charity, prepare sandwiches and hit the streets with other young adults to bring the light of Christ to the forgotten.
